I joined SpeakUp in 2016 as a student working two days a week. Back then I didn’t think I would still be working here 8 years later.
After my graduation I joined SpeakUp full-time and focused on HR. In my role as HR Manager I have been involved in many processes and projects that were exciting and challenging at the same time; from opening an office in India, to guiding the team through the corona pandemic, and massively growing the team and much more.
The phase that SpeakUp is in right now gives me so much opportunity to learn and develop myself through on the job learning and projects. That combined with a group of kind and passionate colleagues is why I’m still excited to get to work at SpeakUp after 8 years

I joined SpeakUp in 2020. In all those years it has never been boring (not even when we still had to work from home during lockdown). Noortje from HR sent luncheons and cakes to our home addresses, and I was asked to teach yoga online. I still do that every week. It is a great way to bond with colleagues and to counter post office postures.
Because yoga bringing all colleagues worldwide closer together (in our offices in Amsterdam & Bengaluru), I got to go to our colleagues over in India for a full week. What a trip!
I need a lot of variation in my work and I found it at SpeakUp. Onboarding new clients, helping clients with questions, internal meetings with my colleagues and configuring the system keep me energized all day. I love that SpeakUp helps more and more companies to be ethical, a great field for me to be active in!

I joined SpeakUp in January 2022 to break into tech and make a career shift. Starting in sales, I quickly learned the ropes before moving to Customer Success, where I could focus on helping customers.
What truly stands out is SpeakUp’s purpose-driven mission—it's not just about software but empowering voices to be heard. Plus, I get to work with a diverse, passionate team that genuinely cares. Every day brings new challenges, growth, and meaningful contributions. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey!

I joined SpeakUp in 2020, and no two days have been the same since—that’s what makes it so exciting! Over the past five years, I’ve tackled meaningful challenges in an industry that empowers employees to speak up. The work is dynamic and rewarding, but the real highlight is the people. Our international team is supportive, generous, and always willing to share knowledge. It’s a place where you’re encouraged to grow, share ideas, and make a real impact.

I joined SpeakUp back in 2018 as a member of the Business Development Team. At the time, I was looking to join an organization with a mission that resonated well with my personal beliefs. And oh boy, have I found that!
During my time at SpeakUp, I’ve had the opportunity to continuously grow and develop alongside the company’s growth itself. I love managing my own client portfolio and building strong and personal relationships with my clients (who also happen to be the largest organizations in Europe).

My journey with SpeakUp has been anything but typical. It began in 2004 with my Economics Master Thesis when SpeakUp was just taking shape. In 2007, I officially joined as the first Business Development Manager, helping land major clients like Randstad and BMW while shaping the ethics and compliance industry in Europe.
After a detour into my passion for water sports in2016, I found my way back in 2023. A conversation about SpeakUp’s new growth vision reignited my excitement, and two years later, I couldn’t be happier. SpeakUp has grown tremendously, and I’m grateful to be part of this journey once again, making an impact every day.

Customer Success
Our Customer Success department ensures customer satisfaction and helps them maximize the value of our product. This team is focused on onboarding new customers, providing support, relationship management, driving renewals and expansions. The goal of this team is to build strong, long-term relationships with customers by helping them get the most value out of our product.

Finance
Our Finance department manages the company's finances by planning and analyzing financial activities, recording transactions, preparing reports, managing cash flow and investments, ensuring tax compliance, and mitigating financial risks. They're essentially responsible for maintaining the financial health and stability of the company.

Human Resources
Our HR department oversees all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. Their goal is to support the organization's workforce, promoting a positive work environment and professional growth, ensuring legal compliance.

Our IT department is responsible for managing the technology infrastructure, providing technical support, ensuring cybersecurity, administering systems, developing new software features, innovation, prototypes, planning IT strategies, and managing data to support the organiszation's business operations effectively and securely.

Marketing
Our Marketing department is responsible for building and maintaining the brand, creating, and executing marketing campaigns, leveraging digital channels, analyzing performance, creating content, organiszing industry events, and managing customer relationships to drive business growth and achieve marketing objectives.

Product
Our Product department is responsible for defining SpeakUp’s product strategy, conducting market research, overseeing product development, designing user experiences, managing product features, analyzing performance, and supporting products to drive customer value and business growth.

Commercial
Our Commercial department is responsible for prospecting and lead generation, sales presentations and demonstrations, negotiation and closing deals, relationship building with customers, sales pipeline management, forecasting and reporting, gathering customer feedback and insights to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets

Service Delivery
The Service Delivery team at Speak Up ensures a seamless onboarding experience and provides ongoing support to all our customers, making sure their needs are met with care and efficiency. Known for being the most gezellig team, they foster a warm and collaborative atmosphere that brings people together.

Van de initiële kick-off tot het uiteindelijke uitrollen van SpeakUp binnen jouw hele organisatie: onze klokkenluidersexperts staan klaar om je te begeleiden tijdens het proces. In 5 verschillende fasen helpen we je bij het bouwen van het specifieke klokkenluidersysteem dat jouw organisatie nodig heeft.
1. Stappenplan voor de start en implementatie
Eerst stellen we jouw organisatorische en technische vereisten vast in een kick-off sessie. We bekijken jouw governance en workflows, met een duidelijk stappenplan voor de implementatie als resultaat.
2. Installatie, configuratie en training
Vervolgens zetten wij jouw specifieke klokkenluidersysteem op, ondersteund door een van onze Customer Success Managers. In deze fase personaliseren wij het systeem, stellen we de belangrijkste gebruikersaccounts in en trainen wij de gebruikers.
3. Levering, testen en feedback van het systeem
Nu heb jij jouw klokkenluidersysteem op maat en is het tijd om te testen, feedback te verzamelen en indien nodig de laatste aanpassingen te maken.
4. Organisatorische embedding en praktijk
Tegelijkertijd zal jouw Customer Success Manager jou de best practices voor het gebruik van SpeakUp laten zien. We laten je zien welke strategie het meest geschikt is voor jouw doelgroep en hoe jij voldoet aan wettelijke vereisten.
5. Implementeer SpeakUp binnen uw organisatie
Je bent klaar voor lancering. De laatste stap is het uitrollen van het SpeakUp-klokkenluidersysteem binnen jouw hele organisatie. Het gehele proces duurt ongeveer 8 tot 10 weken, afhankelijk van de behoeften van jouw organisatie.

Tijdens het SpeakUp-proces zijn er geen gesprekshandlers of tolken in realtime die de gegevens verwerken tijdens het gesprek. In plaats daarvan wordt de boodschap woord voor woord getranscribeerd en vertaald. Dit betekent dat men niet afhankelijk is van menselijke samenvattingen die anders tot informatieverlies zouden kunnen leiden.
Ja, het SpeakUp-systeem ondersteunt volledig anonieme en vertrouwelijke meldingen.
Ieder kanaal heeft drie mogelijkheden om een melding te ontvangen: online, via de telefoon en via de app. Elk kanaal heeft zijn eigen toegangsgegevens: een URL voor meldingen via internet, een organisatiecode voor de telefoon en een QR-code voor de app. Het zijn verschillende manieren waarop reporters hun bericht kunnen doorgeven.
Een domein is vergelijkbaar met een kluis. Hierin worden alle kwesties opgeslagen. Een domein kan kwesties ontvangen via een of meerdere kanalen, of handmatig via een gebruiker.
Gebruikers kunnen toegang krijgen tot het domein om de kwesties te bekijken die daarin zijn opgeslagen. Gebruikers die geen deel uitmaken van het domein kunnen wel voor specifieke kwesties in het domein worden uitgenodigd. Maar ze krijgen geen toegang tot alle kwesties binnen het domein.
